PRAY

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

The most important thing that anyone can ever do on this earth is to believe in Jesus, God’s Son, and what He’s done for us. With one simple, but sincere prayer you can know that you’ll spend eternity with Him. Would you like to do that right now?

“God, I know and I admit that I am separated from You by sin. I believe in my heart You sent Your Son Jesus to die on the cross – paying for my sin, washing me clean and making me Your child forever. Come into my heart and be my Lord. I ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

“First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority in order that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.” I Timothy 2:1-3 NAS

We as Christians need to humbly be on our knees for our nation and those in authority. It's our responsibility. Our nation murders 4,000 unborn babies each day, and is driven by lust, greed, perversion and rebellion. But God's word says in Romans chapter 5 that where sin abounds, grace does much more abound. There is hope only in Christ Jesus.

Pray every day for our nation and our leaders.

I thank God for each and every one of those who have given their lives and those who are giving their lives to protect my freedom. I ask the Lord to protect them, give them courage and strength. May His hand of grace be upon them, bless them, fill their hearts with His love, and bring them safely home to their families.

Our Assistant Pastor at the time, Joey Lopez, said something that I will never forget. He said that there were only two groups of people in this world – those on their way to heaven and those on their way to hell. It had such an impact on me that I began mulling over how I could share it. I wrote those compelling words in a “tract” form knowing that I could “plant a seed” everywhere I went. I dreamed of seeing our cities covered with a blanket of white “snow” – small white tracts that would make the statement and then ask the question, “In which group are you?” Such a simple tool in black and white – compelling people to make a decision for life.

Only God can create a soul. The precious lives of the unborn are His concern and He is the Giver of life. God is also the One who forgives our sins and heals past hurts if we but sincerely ask Him. Pray for the lives of the unborn, for the mothers who hold them within, for those who have been hurt by past decisions and for the opening of the eyes to the Truth of those who shed innocent blood.
